Tiled Roofs and Reroofing

It is important to keep tiled roofs neat and tidy to ensure a cosmetic look.

Signs to look out for:

• If your ceiling shows signs of discolouring this is probably due to there being no plastic under your roof tiles
• The plastic fitted incorrectly
• Damage to this plastic by a third party i.e. plumber, electrician, DSTV cables

To repair the above, tiles and wood must be removed, and 250 Micron plastic needs to be installed and fitted. This is the only way to successfully repair a tiled roof and there is no maintenance needed as it is covered by the tiles additionally no UV sun rays are affecting the product.

In houses built over the past 50 years, only 50% were supplied with the correct 250 Micron, lifelong, SABS approved plastic, and many others were not fitted correctly or had no plastic at all.
